2011-2012 Luge Season
Hi everyone! It has been some time since my website has been updated! But my season so far has been quite rushed.
I have only been sliding for 3 weeks already this season, and the last time I have been on a sled was my final runs in the
2010 Olympics in Vancouver! I have already raced in the first World Cup of the season in Igls, Austria. I raced there
only after a week of sliding at Altenberg in Germany, which had an international training week. It was a hard competition,
but i managed to qualify for the World Cup and managed to finish in 26th place, which after a year and nine months off a sled,
I thought was quite well! however it was not near what my performances were. But I can now say that I will be continuing up
to the next Olympics in Sochi, Russia! So stay tuned for the next World Cups of the season, and years leading up to
the 2014 Olympics! I am now currently in Whistler, Canada for the next World Cup, and just finished my first training on the
track this morning! Also, I have just started a twitter account @FrozenRosen, so you could also get some more up to date info
if you have twitter! But I will keep everyone posted, so wish me luck and give some updates soon! Thank you for all of the
support!!!

A.J. holds a Dual Citizenship with Great
Britain and the U.S. His mother is British, and his father American. While he originally trained with the
US Development Team, and was also the US Luge Junior 1 Champion when 14 (for athletes 17 and under), A.J. was not
invited to participate in the World Cup Circuit, missing out on races every other week, longer training time and better
equipment which every athlete needs to get ahead. SO, he never made it to Number 1 again, and was dropped
before his 18th Birthday. HOWEVER, it all worked out GREAT, as A.J. has been Number 1 in Great Britain in Luge
for the past 5 years, came in 16th in the 2006 Winter Olympic Games and actually beat 2 of the 3 American Lugers he had
been bypassed for! A.J. came in 16th in the 2010 Olympics in Whistler. All is well that ends well! Plus, A.J. says " I
love learning about my British heritage through my fellow teammates and coaches. I have a GREAT coach, Tommy Zeitz who was
in the Olympics also, and life is good! "I would LOVE some SPONSORS though...." While A.J. qualified for every
World Cup Race for the 06-07 Season (a British FIRST), he was unable to travel to the British Championship Race due
to lack of funding.. and his career has now been put on hold for that same reason.

| After finishing a run at Whistler - Feb. 2010 |
Hi! Welcome to my website.
I hope you will find it full of information, and if you have any questions - all you have to do is email me in the space provided.
I love the sport of luge, and have been competing Internationally for just 5 seasons. When I first started on the World
Cup Circuit in 2003, I didn't know the tracks at all, but that is slowly changing. I love the speed of luge, the different
people I meet, the different foods, and if there is anything you would like to know from any of the countries I visit - just
let me know! This upcoming 2008-09 Season, I will be traveling to Germany, Austria, Canada,Lake Placid, Italy, Latvia
and seeing the new track at Vancouver! My email address is ajrosen2010@aol.com
